{"id":12349,"date":"2026-01-01T01:34:15","date_gmt":"2025-12-31T22:34:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coagri.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=12349"},"modified":"2026-06-09T14:59:47","modified_gmt":"2026-06-09T11:59:47","slug":"undergraduate-admissions-plan","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/en.coagri.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=12349","title":{"rendered":"Undergraduate Admissions Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\" data-start=\"134\" data-end=\"205\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong data-start=\"137\" data-end=\"205\">Admission Requirements for Morning (Daytime) Undergraduate Study<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"3592\">\n<li data-start=\"207\" data-end=\"309\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2; text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"209\" data-end=\"309\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must hold a recognized Iraqi Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent qualification.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"310\" data-end=\"604\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"604\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Non-Iraqi secondary certificates must be officially evaluated and recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Education after being duly authenticated by the Ministry of Education and the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/mofa.gov.iq\/%d9%88%d8%b2%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%ae%d8%a7%d8%b1%d8%ac%d9%8a%d8%a9-%d8%a7%d9%84%d8%b9%d8%b1%d8%a7%d9%82%d9%8a%d8%a9-english\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Ministry of Foreign Affairs<\/a><\/span><\/strong> of the awarding country, as well as the Iraqi embassy in that country, if available.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"605\" data-end=\"815\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"607\" data-end=\"815\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">For applicants admitted under Channels (1, 3, and 5) referred to in Section (First), no more than three years must have elapsed since completion of secondary education for admission to morning study programs.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"1081\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"818\" data-end=\"1081\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">For students admitted under the private (self-funded) track to morning study programs, no more than four years must have elapsed since completion of secondary education. Applicants admitted to evening study programs are exempt from the graduation-year limitation.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1082\" data-end=\"1217\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"1084\" data-end=\"1217\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must complete the official application form with all required information after payment of the prescribed application fee.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1498\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"1220\" data-end=\"1498\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Students who are not proficient in Arabic may be granted a preparatory year at the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers, College of Arts, Al-Mustansiriyah University, provided they are admitted through one of the admission channels referred to in Section (First).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1499\" data-end=\"1803\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"1501\" data-end=\"1803\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">International students applying for admission may be enrolled in the Institute of Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers in either morning or evening programs, in accordance with the admission channels referred to in Section (First). Tuition fees and academic charges shall be paid in foreign currency.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1804\" data-end=\"1977\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"1806\" data-end=\"1977\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">The application period for admission begins on July 1 and ends on August 15 of each academic year, except for applicants covered under Item (4) of Section (First).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"1978\" data-end=\"2284\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"1980\" data-end=\"2284\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Applicants must successfully pass a medical examination conducted by the University Health Services to confirm freedom from communicable diseases and physical fitness for university study. This requirement must be fulfilled prior to enrollment and applies to both undergraduate and postgraduate students.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2545\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"2287\" data-end=\"2545\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Admitted students must complete registration at the college or institute to which they have been admitted no later than November 15 of each year, except as stated in Item (4) of Section (First). Failure to do so shall result in cancellation of admission.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2546\" data-end=\"2685\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"2548\" data-end=\"2685\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">The annual admission percentage shall be determined in accordance with the general admission plan and the number of non-Iraqi applicants.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2686\" data-end=\"2981\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"2688\" data-end=\"2981\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Applicants ranked within the top 10% of graduates from technical institutes residing in Iraq may be admitted under the same regulations applied to Iraqi students. Visiting or international students shall be admitted in accordance with the admission channels referred to in Section (First).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"2982\" data-end=\"3199\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3199\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Transfer applications from universities outside Iraq shall be considered under the same regulations governing the transfer of Iraqi students, in accordance with the admission channels referred to in Section (First).<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3200\" data-end=\"3416\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"3202\" data-end=\"3416\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Transfers between Iraqi universities and institutes shall be processed in accordance with the regulations governing Iraqi student transfers, subject to approval by the nominating authority and through the Ministry.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3417\" data-end=\"3592\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"3419\" data-end=\"3592\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">Upon final approval of admission, the student shall be granted an entry visa to Iraq, and the Iraqi embassy in the student\u2019s country of residence shall be formally notified.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"line-height: 2; text-align: justify;\">\n<hr data-start=\"3594\" data-end=\"3597\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"line-height: 2; text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3599\" data-end=\"3652\"><\/div>\n<ul data-start=\"3654\" data-end=\"4103\">\n<li data-start=\"3654\" data-end=\"3702\">\n<h3 data-start=\"73\" data-end=\"127\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong data-start=\"77\" data-end=\"127\">Required Documents for Undergraduate Admission<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3654\" data-end=\"3702\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"3656\" data-end=\"3702\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">A duly certified secondary school certificate.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3703\" data-end=\"3764\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"3705\" data-end=\"3764\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">A birth certificate and a copy of the applicant\u2019s passport.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3765\" data-end=\"3968\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2;\" data-start=\"3767\" data-end=\"3968\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">A completed application form, accompanied by proof of payment of the application fee; for self-funded students, this must be supported by an official receipt issued by the Financial Affairs Department.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3969\" data-end=\"4103\">\n<div style=\"line-height: 2; text-align: justify;\" data-start=\"3971\" data-end=\"4103\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial; font-weight: 400;\">An official nomination letter from the applicant\u2019s government for students admitted under cultural exchange or scholarship programs.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_tta_tour][vc_tta_section title=&#8221;2026-2027&#8243;
