The Iraqi Poultry Science association was established in 2005 with the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in the book No. 3640 on 14\/3\/2005, based on paragraph (a) of Article III of the Law of Scientific Societies No. (55) of 1981, as amended.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The founding conference was held on Monday, 2\/5\/2005 in the hall of the Graduate Studies Building – College of Agriculture – University of Baghdad and was within the conference a free election and by secret ballot of the members of the administrative body through which seven original members and two reserve members were elected for a renewable period of three years.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The association works to achieve objectives, including: <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

1- Achieving development in poultry science in a way that serves the process of scientific and economic progress in the field of agriculture .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

2- Encouraging scientific research in poultry science and organizing seminars, lectures and specialized scientific conferences .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

3- Encouraging authorship, translation and publishing in the fields of specialization, the most important of which is the publication of the Iraqi Poultry Science Journal.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

4- Work to raise the scientific and cultural level of workers in the field of poultry sector, improve their scientific skills and employ these capabilities in the service of their country and society in the field of specialization .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

1- Providing scientific advisory services in the field of competence to individuals, companies, institutions and various state departments in accordance with the capabilities of the association and achieving public benefit .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

3- Methods of developing the scientific and practical expertise of specialists and breeders in the field of poultry production .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

4- Increasing scientific, technical and cultural awareness in the field of specialization of the poultry industry and keeping pace with the development in this industry .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Terms of publication in the journal : <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

1- Accept valuable and innovative research related to solving the problems of the poultry industry and related and preferably have an applied character and that has not previously been accepted for publication or publication in any other journal and the researcher must submit a written undertaking to do so when submitting the research to the editorial board of the journal.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

2- The submitted research papers shall be written in Arabic or English printed on white paper size A4<\/span> and with a space multiplied Double space<\/span> .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

3- The submitted research is subject to arbitration and the researcher makes the required corrections and in the event that he is not convinced of some points can be answered. In case of rejection of the research, the researcher will be notified of this.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

4- Short research that contains a new or innovative method of work or with a significantly limited achievement is accepted Research note<\/span> and review articles are also accepted Review articles<\/span>if they contain a new idea added by the researcher.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

5- The number of pages of the research submitted for publication should not exceed 14 pages.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

6- The title of the research, whether the research is submitted in Arabic or English, should be written at the top of the abstract page (Abstract<\/span>) clearly and concisely. The research is classified after the title into abstract, introduction, materials, methods of work, results, discussion, thanks, if any, and then sources.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

7- The abstract of the research shall be submitted in both Arabic and English not exceeding 150<\/span> word and the abstract written in the language contrary to the language of the research shall be placed at the back of the research.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

8- Sources are arranged alphabetically and Arabic sources are mentioned before foreign ones. It mentions the title of the first researcher (his last name), then his first and second name, then the names of the other researchers are mentioned, so that he mentions the name of the first researcher, then his second name, then his last name (surname) separates them from a sorter, then comes after the names, the year of publication and the title of the research, then the abbreviation of the journal name according to the principles of the abbreviation in force, then mentions the volume number Volume<\/span> and its number and page numbers (first and last page numbers)), as in the following examples: <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

9- Mention the sources in the body of the research by referring to the name of the researcher followed by the year of research in parentheses in the case of actual sentences such as : Al-Asadi and Al-Saadi ( 2004) stated that the increase ….Or it is sufficient to mention the name of the researcher and the year of research in parentheses in the case of news sentences such as : The addition of vitamin E<\/span> to the diet led to an increase in the efficiency of the nutritional conversion of broilers (Al-Hasani and Abdul Hassan, 2001).<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

10- It is required that the tables and figures are clear and their information is adequate and expressive and enter immediately after the page in which the table or figure is mentioned in the body of the research.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

11- Photographs shall be printed on glossy satin paper and the title, number, and data of the photograph shall be indicated under the image.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

12 – The units used in the search are metric units.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

13- The journal relies on self-financing in publishing and accepts financial support from the relevant authorities. The cost of publication fees: 15,000 fifteen thousand Iraqi dinars (equivalent to 10 US dollars) research evaluation fees and paid upon delivery of the research and is non-refundable in the event of rejection of the research and its invalidity for publication, in addition to the amount of 1500 dinars (equivalent to 1 US dollars) per page of the research paid after accepting the research for publication. The researcher(s) shall be provided with four copies of the published research. As for the fees for publishing the research for researchers from outside Iraq, it is 30 US dollars.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

14- When writing the final form of the research, it is written in the form of the paper halving (columns) .<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

15- Subscriptions are accepted for persons and scientific and research institutions inside Iraq at an allowance of 6000 dinars (equivalent to 4 US dollars) per copy, while the subscription allowance from outside Iraq is 20 US dollars per copy.<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
