The Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources participated in the Agricultural Shopping Festival held at Al-Zawraa Park, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdulwahab Abdulreda. The participation was part of a scientific initiative aimed at introducing key agricultural products that support environmental and agricultural sustainability.<\/span><\/div>\n
The department\u2019s participation included showcasing a variety of organic fertilizers and humic substances (humic and fulvic acids) produced at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, due to their important role in improving soil fertility, enhancing nutrient uptake efficiency, and promoting plant growth.<\/span><\/div>\n
The department\u2019s booth attracted significant interest from visitors and those interested in the agricultural sector, where a scientific explanation was provided on the production process of these products and their benefits in supporting sustainable agriculture and reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers, thereby contributing to environmental protection and improved agricultural productivity.<\/span><\/div>\n
