The SNPs genetic markers were recorded in the International Gene Bank and the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) from genetic analysis of BMPR1B and IZUMO1R genes in Awassi sheep in central of Iraq. The accession numbers were registered globally, including the type of animal, registering authority, sequence, and complete images. This marks the first Iraqi and global registration for Awassi sheep (in collaboration between the University of Anbar and the University of Baghdad), aiming to achieve sustainable development goals (quality education and partnerships). The sequences were submitted to the Gene Bank, obtaining the following eight accession numbers for the first time (LC806066, LC807694, LC806065, LC806061, LC806062, LC806063, LC806064, and LC807693). This scientific achievement contributes to decoding the genetic map of sheep, including Awassi, globally, enhancing future research to discover the genetic codes of local animals. This achievement was accomplished through the doctoral research of Mr. Ayman Hashim Issa from the College of Agriculture – the University of Anbar, under the direct supervision of Dr. Nasr Nouri Al-Anbari from the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences – University of Baghdad, and Dr. Thaer Rashid Mohammed from the College of Agriculture – University of Anbar, overseeing the student’s study and publication.<\/span><\/h3>\n
