At the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, a defense of the doctoral dissertation entitled “Detection of some micro ribonucleic acid molecules (miRNAs) and types of proteins in seminal plasma and sperm and their relationship to the quality of seminal fluid of Iraqi buffalo bulls” was conducted by student Kareem Salman Musa from the Department of Animal Production.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The study aimed to detect some types of miRNAs in seminal plasma and sperm and their relationship to the quality of fresh and frozen-thawed seminal fluid of Iraqi buffalo bulls, as well as to detect some types of proteins in seminal plasma and their relationship to the quality of seminal fluid.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The researcher recommended the adoption of relative expression of miRNA types in seminal plasma and sperm and low molecular weight proteins in seminal plasma as vital indicators when selecting Iraqi buffalo bulls and conducting further studies to detect other types of nucleic acids.<\/span><\/h3>\n
