\u00a0A defense of the master’s thesis titled “Study of the Biological Activity of Purslane Plant Extracts Before and After Incorporation with Nanoparticles” was held at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, by the student Hind Abdul Abbas Faris from the Department of Food Sciences.<\/span><\/h3>\n
\n

The researcher indicated that the leaves of the purslane plant contain protein, fiber, ash, carbohydrates, and fats, which surpassed the stems of the purslane plant that had higher moisture content than the leaves.<\/span><\/h3>\n

The study demonstrated the efficiency of the alcoholic extract in its content of active compounds, represented by total phenols, total flavonoids, and vitamins C and E, and subsequently, an increase in the antioxidant activity of the alcoholic extract of purslane leaves compared to other aqueous extracts.<\/span><\/h3>\n
