The student Mustafa Riyadh Abd successfully defended his Master’s thesis titled “Evaluation of the Efficiency of Using Zeolite, Clayey-Green Soil Mix, and Some Organic Amendments in Reclaiming Desert Soil and Enhancing Growth and Yield of Legumes” at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, Department of Desertification Combat. The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of using zeolite, fine-textured soil, and organic amendments and their interactions on various physical and chemical properties, nitrogen availability, as well as the impact of adding zeolite and fine-textured soil on the growth and yield of legumes. The researcher recommended further exploration of the use of fine-textured (clayey) soil technology as soil amendments due to its efficiency in improving different characteristics of desert soils. Additionally, continuing studies at the current study site was advised to understand the remaining effects of the study factors on other crops. <\/span><\/h3>\n
