Achieving the goals of sustainable development in quality education, good health, and well-being, and life on land, Professor Dr. Kamila Ward Shaher, a faculty member in the Department of Plant Protection – College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences – University of Baghdad, participated in authoring a scientific book titled “Diseases and Enemies of Honey Bees in Iraq and Methods of Controlling Them.” The book was written to serve as a scientific reference for researchers and specialists in the field of beekeeping, especially given the significant importance and role of honey bees in supporting food security and environmental diversity. Honey bees contribute to the pollination of many agricultural crops, as well as supporting the human immune system.
