Fatima Yahya Askar from Department of Field Crop Sciences successfully defended her Ph.D. work with the title (Response of Two Wheat Varieties to Foliar Application of Glutathione, Citric Acid, and the Biofertilizer Abtaizer)
The study aimed to investigate the response of growth and yield for two wheat varieties to foliar application of glutathione, citric acid, and the Abtaizer biofertilizer, in addition to determining the optimal concentration for each of these materials to achieve the highest seed yield and the best grain quality.
The researcher recommended selecting other wheat varieties besides those used in the study to determine their responsiveness to the spraying of these materials. She also suggested conducting further studies that involve applying these materials at growth stages different from those used in this research.
