Saja Salahuddin Nasser from  Department of Animal Production successfully defended her Ph.D. work with the title (Effect of Adding Organic Minerals (Zinc, Chromium, Manganese) and Their Mixtures to the Diet on the Productive Performance, Some Physiological Traits of Laying Hens, and Egg Quality Characteristics)
The study aimed to enhance egg production efficiency, reduce production costs, and improve egg quality in line with the requirements of the poultry industry, as well as to promote public health and reduce health-related problems.
The researcher recommended the use of organic zinc, chromium, and manganese, either individually or in combination, at doubled concentrations in the diets of laying hens. She further suggested complementing this part of the research with more detailed analyses and extending the trial period beyond the peak of egg production
