For the purpose of activating memoranda of understanding between Iraqi and Iranian universities, the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment, under the guidance of the department head Assistant Professor Dr. Alaa Kamel Sabr, established a joint scientific collaboration with Urmia University and the Research Institute of Food Science and Technology in Iran. The agreement between both parties includes initiating scientific cooperation through conducting joint lectures between the faculty members of both universities, as well as collaboratively publishing research within the same specialization for global dissemination. Additionally, it involves evaluating scientific research and maintaining continuous communication to enhance all academic aspects within the policy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to strengthen collaboration between Iraqi and Iranian universities.
At the end of the meeting, both parties affirmed the continuation of regular and ongoing meetings to promote this collaboration. Best wishes to the leadership and faculty members of the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment for success and prosperity in this auspicious step.
