Sajjad Mohsen Farhan from  Department of Horticulture and Landscape Engineering successfully defended his MSc. work with the title “Physiological Performance of Kale (Brassica oleracea Var. acephala) as Influenced by Organic Media from Industrial Plant Residues and Foliar Spray of Galgan Extract under a Sustainable Environment”
The thesis aimed to study the nutritional effect of galgan leaf extract on the growth, yield, and qualitative traits of the kale plant.
 
The researcher recommended reducing environmental, soil, and water pollution and supporting industrial agriculture by adopting these organic residues as clean, eco-friendly fertilizers for cultivating kale or other vegetable crops to obtain products free from chemical fertilizer residues.____________________________________-
