As part of the requirements for the third-year Plant Physiology course in the Department of Field Crop Sciences, and with the aim of providing practical knowledge for students, Dr. Saddam Hatem Abdul Rahim is conducting field practices for the Plant Physiology lesson. Through these practices, students have become acquainted with the functional differences between plants with a single cotyledon and those with two cotyledons grown in the field. They also learned how to take leaf area measurements and their indicators, in addition to methods for estimating net photosynthetic rates.
