Faculty members from the University of Baghdad’s College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences presented their latest research at the 3rd International Scientific Conference for Agricultural Sciences, hosted by the University of Karbala on December 22–23, 2025.
Under the theme “The Role of Sustainable Agriculture in Addressing Climate Challenges and Enhancing Food Security,” the following researchers presented their work within the Sustainable Agriculture track:

  • Dr. Qusay Abdul-Razzaq Waheeb (Associate Professor, Dept. of Soil Sciences & Water Resources)

  • Dr. Saif Ahmed Rowdhan (Associate Professor, Dept. of Agricultural Machinery & Equipment)

The conference highlighted the intersection of climate resilience and food systems, showcasing the University of Baghdad’s commitment to advancing sustainable solutions for global agricultural challenges.
