The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences concluded the activities of the Five-a-Side Football Tournament for the scientific departments, held under the patronage and attendance of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh, along with the vice deans, and a large gathering of faculty members and students. The tournament was organized by the Student Activities Unit of the College.
The college stadium hosted the final match between the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources and the Department of Field Crops. The match was characterized by strong competition and fair play, ending in a draw and proceeding to a penalty shootout, which concluded with a 4–3 victory for the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources.
During halftime of the final match, a Taekwondo performance was presented. At the conclusion of the tournament, Professor Dr. Ameera Mohammed Saleh, accompanied by the vice deans, awarded trophies, medals to the winning teams, and individual awards to participants.
