As part of its commitment to the goals of Sustainable Development in Quality Education, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences held the defense sessions of graduation research projects for fourth-year students in the Plant Protection and Animal Production departments for the 2025–2026 academic year. The sessions were conducted in a distinguished academic atmosphere that reflected the high scientific standards of both the students and the college.
The Plant Protection Department organized its discussions over two consecutive days, during which 23 research projects were presented in the fields of Plant Diseases and Entomology. The sessions were attended by the Head of the Department, Dr. Bushra Sabir Abdul-Sadah, and the Department Coordinator, Dr. Saad Tareq. Evaluation was carried out by specialized scientific committees comprising senior faculty members in both disciplines, ensuring objective and rigorous academic assessment. Technical and organizational support for the presentations was also provided to ensure the smooth conduct of the sessions.
Similarly, students of the Animal Production Department defended their graduation projects in the presence of the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Hussam Jassim Bananh, and the Department Coordinator, Dr. Yaseen Abdul Salam Al-Maamouri, along with members of the discussion committees and a wide attendance of faculty staff who contributed valuable scientific insights.
The research discussions in both departments were marked by a high level of academic rigor and professionalism. Students demonstrated strong analytical skills and an effective integration of theoretical knowledge with practical application. At the conclusion of the sessions, the committees commended the efforts of the students and their supervisors and extended their best wishes for continued success in their academic and professional futures.
