As part of fostering scientific collaboration between the colleges of the University of Baghdad, the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences welcomed a delegation of students from the Ibn Al-Haytham College of Education for Pure Sciences.
Objectives of the Visit
The primary goal of this field trip was to introduce students to the academic and research environment within the department. The visit aimed to:
  • Explore specialized laboratories and educational nurseries.

  • Learn about the latest equipment and technologies used in horticulture and landscape architecture.

  • Bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical application in a real-world setting.

Reception and Engagement
The delegation was received by the Head of the Department and several faculty members. They provided a comprehensive overview of the department’s activities, academic programs, and career prospects. The faculty emphasized that such visits are vital for:
