Ruqayya Thamer Hussein from Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment successfully defended her MSc. work with the title (“Evaluation of a Locally Developed Irrigation, Planting, and Fertigation System and Its Impact on Selected Soil Properties, Plant Growth, and Yield.(
The study aimed to evaluate the performance of a locally developed integrated irrigation, planting, and fertilization system, and to assess its effects on selected soil properties, plant growth, and crop yield.
The researcher recommended adopting the developed irrigation–planting–fertigation system due to its successful performance in irrigation and planting operations without the need for conventional planting and seeding equipment. The study also supported the use of subsurface drip irrigation in combination with GR tubing.
Congratulations to student on this achievement.
