A specialized committee of faculty members recently conducted a field visit to review the progress of a Master’s research project by student Rawaa Adel Turki.
The research, titled “The Impact of Zeolite, Perlite, and Organic Matter on Improving Soil Physical Properties and Cabbage Yield Under Surface Drip Irrigation Systems,” is being conducted under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Redha.
Visit Highlights
The visit was commissioned by the Head of the Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Abdul-Wahab Abdul-Redha, to ensure academic oversight and support. During the session:
  • Detailed Presentation: The student provided an in-depth explanation of the experimental design and the specific scientific objectives of the study.

  • Expert Feedback: Committee members engaged with the student, offering constructive observations and technical guidance to refine the research outcomes.

  • Strategic Goals: The project aims to enhance soil efficiency and crop productivity through sustainable soil amendments and modern irrigation techniques.
