The Department of Field Crops at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences organized a tree-planting event with the participation of the Head of the Department, Professor Ahmed Hameed Saudi, faculty members, and second-year students.
The activity included planting trees and ornamental plants in the college’s green areas to enhance vegetation cover, improve the campus environment, and promote environmental awareness among students.
The organizers noted that the initiative supports environmental activities and provides practical experience for students while encouraging teamwork and responsibility toward the environment. Students expressed enthusiasm about participating in the initiative, which also contributes to beautifying the university campus.
