As part of the summer training program for students of the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Equipment at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, the Summer Training Committee conducted field visits to monitor students’ practical training at the Ministry of Industry and Minerals, the General Company for Food Products, the Tobacco and Cigarettes Factory–Baghdad, and Airtrak (Caterpillar).
The training focused on agricultural machinery, equipment operation and maintenance, with particular emphasis on diesel engines. The summer training program aims to enhance students’ scientific knowledge and practical skills, preparing them for successful entry into the labor market.
This activity contributes to achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals).
