The Department of Agricultural Economics at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, held a scientific seminar presented by MSc student Aseel Mohammed Ahmed. The seminar addressed a study of the value chain of eggplant production in Baghdad Governorate, as part of the procedures for approving the student’s MSc research proposal. The seminar was attended by the Head of the Department of Agricultural Economics, Prof. Dr. Iskandar Hussein Ali, along with several faculty members and postgraduate students from the department.
The seminar aimed to calculate the value added at each stage of the value chain and address the challenges at each stage, from the supply stage through to the export stage. This seminar contributes to expanding knowledge and developing the research and professional skills of postgraduate students.
This activity contributes to Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
