In the presence of the Assistant President of the University of Baghdad for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Marwan Abdul-Hameed, and under the supervision of the Director of the Student Activities Department, Dr. Ali Sadiq, the University of Baghdad celebrated on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, the University Arts Festival at the University of Baghdad Stadium. The festival was organized by the Student Activities Department with the participation of 24 colleges representing the University of Baghdad and more than 100 different works.

The festival included various works by students in all branches of visual arts, including expressive and pictorial paintings using watercolors and oils, theatrical scenes, and a variety of works ranging from ceramics, Arabic calligraphy, handicrafts, sculpture, to paintings representing the history and civilization of Iraq.

Our college, represented by the Student Activities Division, participated with a number of expressive paintings created by its students. The works varied between oil paintings and glass painting under the supervision of Ms. Ibaa Amer and Ms. Shaimaa Naji. The festival was attended by a large audience of faculty members, staff, and students of the University of Baghdad.
