The Department of Field Crop Sciences, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a seminar entitled “The Effect of Licorice Root Extract Concentration and Spray Stage on the Growth and Yield of White Corn.” The seminar was presented by the Master’s student Riad Mustafa, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Hameed Saudi, the Head of the Department of Field Crop Sciences, department faculty members, and postgraduate students.
The seminar aimed to highlight the importance of studying the effect of licorice root extract and its impact on some growth characteristics, grain yield, and components of white corn crop. The researcher discussed the essential results obtained from this research, emphasizing the identification of the optimal spray stage for licorice root extract, which yields the highest seed yield per unit area.
