The graduation research projects for fourth-year students in the Plant Protection Department were discussed, covering the achievements during the first semester (fall) of the academic year 2023-2024. The meeting was attended by the department head, Dr. Bushra Sabir Abdulsada, the department coordinator, Dr. Saad Tariq, and faculty members who were part of the insect research committee, including Dr. Radi Al-Jassani, Dr. Kamila Ward, and Dr. Nadia Saud. Another committee focused on plant diseases, consisting of Dr. Halima Al-Bahadli, Dr. Nuras Abdulilah, Dr. Naseer Kazim, participated.

Dr. Baraq Abdul-Hussein, Dr. Mina Walid, and Mr. Mohammed Mahmoud managed and organized the technical presentations. All department faculty members participated in the event, and the discussions were characterized by scientific and objective contributions from the students during their research presentations. Comments were provided to guide them, and they were encouraged to complete their projects during the upcoming spring semester.
