The Department of Field Crop Sciences, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, organized a seminar entitled “How to Improve Your h-index.” The seminar was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Sudad Kazem Al-Taweel, in the presence of Professor Dr. Ahmed Hameed Saudi, the head of the Department of Field Crop Sciences, faculty members, and postgraduate students.
The seminar aimed to familiarize faculty members with the Hirsch index or the h-index for academic researchers, its calculation methods, and its appearance in international databases such as Scopus and Clarivate. It also clarified the procedures and methods to increase and enhance the value of this academic index for faculty members, the department, the college, and the university.
