A Workshop on the Scourge of Drugs Organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences

The Women Empowerment Unit and the Plant Protection Department of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, organized a workshop titled “Drugs: a scourge of modern society.” The workshop was conducted under the supervision and presence of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amera Mohammed Saleh, and several faculty members and students.

The workshop included several lectures delivered by Colonel Adel Yassin Tahir and Major Noor Ahmed Abdul Hussein. They addressed the important topic of drugs as a menace to modern society. The role of the Women Empowerment Unit in the college, represented by the unit’s head, Dr. Shimaa Abdul Khaliq Al-Hamawandi, in educating and raising awareness among students, was also highlighted.
