Participation of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences in the Activities of the Arabic Calligraphy and Decoration Exhibition
The Artistic Activities Unit of the Student Activities Division at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, participated in the Arabic Calligraphy and Islamic Decoration Exhibition recently organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad as part of its annual curriculum. The exhibition was attended by Dr. Amir Faisal Abdul Amir, Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, and Dr. Ali Sadiq, Director of the Student Activities Department. The University’s various departments showcased over 100 distinguished artistic works in Arabic calligraphy and Islamic decoration, which were well-received by the audience for their aesthetic beauty and artistic creativity.
The exhibition is part of the events and activities aimed at enhancing the artistic and cultural aspects for students. The university places great importance on supporting and developing talents.
At the conclusion of the exhibition, the best artistic works were honoured by Mr. Mubarak, the Assistant to the University President for Administrative Affairs, who praised and thanked the efforts made to organize the exhibition, wishing them continued success, dedication, and progress.
It is worth mentioning that our college received the winning shield for the work of the student Lara Samir from the Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer, under the supervision of Ms. Abaa Amer and Ms. Shaimaa Nagy.
