The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized, as part of the cultural season for the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment for the new academic year, a seminar attended by a number of department faculty members. The session was conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Naseer Salman Kathem and was titled “Hydrogen as Fuel of The Future.” The event took place in the hall of the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment.

During the discussion, the researcher highlighted the advantages of hydrogen gas and its important properties that qualify it to be the “fuel of the future.” Hydrogen is considered a clean and environmentally safe gas that does not emit harmful gases when burned. Additionally, it possesses high energy, making it a distinctive source of energy as a fuel or as a carrier in fuel cells. It can be used either directly or mixed with natural gas in specific proportions.

The seminar included scientific discussions related to the topic, with the presence of the department head and several faculty members.
