A Workshop on Electronic Extortion Organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences

The Women’s Empowerment Unit and the Plant Protection Department of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior, organized a workshop titled “Electronic Extortion.” The workshop was supervised by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amera Mohammed Saleh, and involved several faculty members and students.

The workshop included several lectures delivered by Captain Noor Ahmed Abdul-Hussein, addressing the important topic of electronic extortion and its negative impact on the lives of youth, girls, and families. The role of the Women’s Empowerment Unit in the college, represented by the unit’s coordinator, Dr. Shaimaa Abdul Khaliq Al-Hamawandi, was also discussed in terms of educating and raising awareness among students.
