The Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, under the patronage of the Dean of the College, Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Counseling Unit, Dr. Muthana Falahi Hamoud, organized a workshop titled “Addiction: Causes and Treatment.” The workshop was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assoc. Prof. Manam Khamees Mukhlif, along with several faculty members and students.
The workshop included several lectures delivered by Mr. Saad Hassan Hamoud, who spoke about “The Physiology of Addiction,” Dr. Sahar Ali Mahdi, who discussed “Addiction Treatment,” and Dr. Muthana Falahi Hamoud, who addressed “Electronic Addiction,” focusing on social media platforms as an example.
At the end of the lectures, a discussion session was opened for attendees to ask questions.
