A Seminar Discussed by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences
During the cultural season of the Department of Animal Production, in the presence of the department head, Professor Dr. Hussam Jassim Bananah, along with a number of department faculty members and postgraduate students, doctoral student Fuad Lazim Jassim conducted a seminar titled “The Relationship between the Genetic Diversity of the DGAT1 Gene and Milk Production and its Components in Ruminants.”
The seminar aimed to shed light on the relationship between the genetic diversity of the DGAT1 gene and its impact on the production performance of ruminants.
The researcher recommended genetic improvement of dairy animals by selecting animals with genetic compositions that provide the best production performance to serve as parents for future generations.
