Dr. Aswan Hamdullah Al-Biyar, a lecturer in the Department of Food Science at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad, has been awarded a patent entitled “Production of an energy drink from apricot juice supplemented with protein isolate prepared from apricot kernels” by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control.
