The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a seminar as part of the activities of the Department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment. The seminar was presented by PhD student Saba Abdul Aziz Hameed on the topic of her thesis entitled “Designing a Program for Automatic Detection of Injuries in Date Palms,” under the supervision of Professor Ali Mazen Abdul Moneim.
The study aimed to diagnose insect injuries in date palms, as well as to design a program for automatic detection of the injuries that date palms are exposed to.
The seminar included scientific discussions related to the study topic, with the presence of the department head, several faculty members, and postgraduate students.
