A Seminar at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences on the Impact of Industrial Facilities on Soil Pollution with Heavy Metals
Within the cultural season of the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, and in the presence of the department’s head, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Majid Nafawah, along with several department faculty members and postgraduate students, Master’s student Mustafa Abdulwahid Aaref delivered a seminar titled ‘The Impact of Industrial Facilities on Soil Pollution with Heavy Metals.’
The seminar aimed to shed light on the concept of pollution and its negative effects on society, as it represents an important issue facing the world. The study aims to protect soil from pollution by industrial waste, thereby safeguarding human health, protecting water sources, and emphasizing community awareness of the effects of these pollutants on human health.
