The Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit at the College of Agricultural Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a workshop entitled “Exam Phobia … or the Fear of Exams among Students: Causes and Solutions.” The workshop was delivered by Dr. Muthanna Falhi Hamoud, the head of the unit, as part of achieving the goals of sustainable development in “quality education” and raising awareness in the community. The workshop was attended by several professors and students of the college.
The workshop included a lecture on exam phobia, its impact on students, its causes, methods of addressing these fears, and how to deal with them. The lecture aims to educate the community, especially the educational sector, including both educators and students within the university environment, in order to extend its benefits beyond the educational setting.
