Dr. Mounam Khamees Mukhlif, Assistant Professor and Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs and Academic Staff at our college, participated in a scientific discussion of a doctoral dissertation in political/strategic sciences at the College of Political Science/University of the Tigris. The thesis, authored by researcher Mohannad Hameed Abbas, is entitled “The Future of Intelligence Utilization in Contemporary Strategic Thought: A Dialectical Study of the Relationship between Open Warfare Approaches and Strategic Risk Management for National Security.” The thesis addressed criteria for the transformation in the nature of intelligence, its characteristics, indicators, expansion of security functions, strategic risk management, the phenomenon of war, the dialectics of hybrid warfare and generational succession, strategic approaches to open warfare, cyber risks in American open warfare, Russian, and Chinese, as well as the future of intelligence and open warfare for national security.
