A Seminar Organized by the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences
To achieve the goals of sustainable development in quality education, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized, as part of the activities of the Plant Protection Department during its cultural season, a seminar presented by Master’s student Ahmed Ali Abdul Razzaq entitled “The Impact of Some Aphid Infestations on Some Chemical Characteristics of Cucumber Plants and the Influence of Some Chemical and Biological Factors on Them in Greenhouses”.
The session was supervised by Dr. Nada Saud Abdul, the coordinator of postgraduate studies in the Plant Protection Department, Professor Dr. Radi Fadel Al-Jasani, and attended by the department head, Assistant Professor Dr. Bushra Sabir Abdul Sada.
The study aimed to demonstrate the effect of infestation with different levels and timings of aphids on some chemical characteristics of cucumber plants, in addition to the impact of some chemical and biological factors on the studied chemical characteristics of cucumber plants and achieving the goals of sustainable development.
The session included scientific discussions with the presence of a number of faculty members in the department and postgraduate students.
