In line with the goals of sustainable development in quality education, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences held discussions on graduation project research for year-four students of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening for the academic year 2023-2024. These discussions were directly supervised by the Head of the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening, Professor Dr. Wafaa Ali Hussein, along with the department’s rapporteur, Dr. Osama Yahya Saleh, and several faculty members from the department.

The discussions, which lasted for two consecutive weeks, included a comprehensive evaluation of the students’ efforts. The students presented detailed reports on their projects and engaged in direct discussions about the methods used, the results achieved, and the challenges they faced during the development and implementation process.

The discussions were characterized by purposeful scientific dialogue and the exchange of ideas and experiences between the students and the faculty members, contributing to the enrichment of the students’ knowledge and practical experiences.

At the end of the discussions, the committee provided its recommendations and appreciation for the diligent efforts made by the students in preparing their projects, praising the innovation and creativity displayed in their presentations. The committee emphasized the importance of applying sustainable concepts in horticulture and garden engineering projects, encouraging students to continue developing their skills and contributing to building a sustainable and healthy future for society.
