Defending a PhD thesis in the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences on Moringa Extract for Orange Seedlings
The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad has conducted a defense of the doctoral dissertation titled “The Impact of Adding Bacterial Bio-fertilizer and Buffalo Manure Fertilizer and Spraying Moringa Extract on the Vegetative Growth Characteristics of Local Orange Seedlings” by student Fatima Saad Hamid from the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Gardening.
The dissertation aimed to maintain the practice of sustainable clean agriculture that ensures a healthy and safe environment for humans by using and following alternatives that benefit human health and the environment.
The researcher recommended the use of organic foliar fertilization to complement ground fertilization and the use of a combination of bacterial bio-fertilizer with buffalo manure, as they are important systems in achieving sustainable agriculture. She also recommended conducting similar studies on the factors of this experiment to study the fruiting characteristics of trees and the possibility of increasing their production.
Congratulations to the researcher and wishing her further scientific success.
