Under the sponsorship of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Amera Mohammed Saleh, and under the supervision of the Head of the Plant Protection Department, Dr. Sindab Sami Aldahwi, the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad organized a panel discussion on women’s empowerment and their effective role in society. The event was attended by the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Munam Khamees Mukhlif, as well as several faculty and staff members of the college.

The discussion was led by Dr. Shimaa Abdul Khaliq and Dr. Ayida Fawzi Ahmed, who explained the concept of women’s empowerment, which enables them to make strategic decisions, gain strength, skills, and performance in the workplace.

The panel aimed to empower women and enable them to make their own choices and access opportunities. Women’s empowerment units serve as a link between the Department of Women’s Empowerment and all ministry structures for the purpose of implementing United Nations Security Council Resolution 1325 in the context of the National Second Plan.

We wish everyone success in achieving a clear vision for this important segment.
