A workshop on the psychology of decision-making and mental health was held at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, University of Baghdad. It was delivered by Dr. Muthanna Falhi Hammoud, who covered two main topics.
The first topic was decision-making, described as a cognitive process resulting from choosing a belief or action among several possible alternatives. It involves identifying and selecting options based on the values, preferences, and beliefs of the decision-maker.
The second topic was mental health, defined as a set of procedures and methods followed by individuals to maintain their mental well-being. This enables them to find appropriate solutions to the problems they face or enhances their ability to cope with their environment.
The workshop was attended by several professors and employees of the college, and we wish everyone success.
