The Council of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad held its regular meeting during its third session for the academic year 2023-2024, in the presence of the council’s president, Professor Dr. Amera Mohammed Saleh, and all members. The following directives were discussed:
1. Emphasizing the commitment to official working hours and the theoretical and practical class schedules for undergraduate and postgraduate students, with a focus on the quality of lectures, which should be marked by excellence.
2. Directing the necessity of scientific and research collaboration with reputable foreign universities in various fields, such as conducting research, giving lectures, organizing workshops and seminars, or peer-reviewing theses and research projects.
3. Emphasizing the importance of completing the research plan submitted by all scientific departments and research units for the previous academic year, monitoring its progress, and publishing research in reputable international journals, whether they are local or international.
The Council also discussed various matters related to the college, including academic affairs, scientific research, administrative affairs, and both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, and appropriate actions were taken regarding them.
