The College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad is proud to present its comprehensive academic roadmap for future agricultural leaders. This dedicated portal serves as a central hub for students to access the official Course Description for all undergraduate programs. By providing transparent access to our curriculum, we ensure that our students are well-prepared for the rigors of modern agricultural challenges and global sustainability goals.
The Department of Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer stands as a cornerstone of our institution. This department focuses on the vital link between laboratory research and field application. Students enrolled in this program explore a diverse range of topics, including rural sociology, communication methods, and the economic principles of farming. The primary mission of the Agricultural Extension and Technology Transfer faculty is to equip graduates with the pedagogical and technical tools necessary to modernize the agricultural sector in Iraq and the surrounding region.
Our curriculum is meticulously structured across four academic years. Each year builds upon the previous one, transitioning from fundamental sciences to advanced field applications and professional ethics. To facilitate a clear understanding of these milestones, we have provided a downloadable Course Description for every subject offered. These documents include learning objectives, credit hours, and assessment criteria, allowing students to plan their academic journey with precision.
We encourage all students and academic advisors to utilize these resources effectively. Understanding the requirements of each module is essential for academic success and professional development.
