In the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences at the University of Baghdad, Noor Sabah Nouri defended her doctoral dissertation titled “Evaluation of Performance of Some International Organizations’ Projects in the Agricultural Sector in Iraq (Case Study: Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security Model)” from the Department of Agricultural Economics. The thesis aimed to conduct an economic and financial evaluation of sustainable agriculture projects and enhancing food security in Iraq, analyzing key factors influencing the adoption of sustainable agricultural projects, and evaluating strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the studied projects.
The researcher recommended increasing government support for disseminating crops, intensifying training programs on suitable technologies for regional conditions, activating the role of agricultural associations in rural areas, and emphasizing scientific agricultural research and its application to serve agricultural sector issues and problems.
