Dr. Hussein Abbas Mohammed, a faculty member at the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, Department of Desertification Combat, participated in the central celebration of the World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought recently organized by the Department of Forests and Desertification Control at the Ministry of Agriculture under the theme “United for Land: Our Heritage, Our Future.” His participation included delivering a lecture titled “Practical Applications in Desertification Control.” The lecturer received a certificate of appreciation from His Excellency the Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Abbas Jaber Al-Maliki, in recognition of his efforts during this celebration.
