Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh, Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, and Dr. Shimaa Abdelkhaleq Al-Hamawandi, Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, participated in the first women’s conference recently held at the Iraqi Council of Ministers / Integrity Commission under the slogan “United Women Against Corruption.” The conference addressed several important topics including:

  • The pioneering role of women and their contribution to social change.

  • Building and developing society as a collective responsibility between men and women.

  • The role of women in combating corruption, whether in parliamentary roles or in supervisory bodies.

Participants in the conference emphasized the necessity of equipping women to assume important roles within the state. Best wishes to everyone for success and prosperity.
