A training course in agricultural engineering sciences on the chemical analysis of soil, water and plants
The Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, organized a training course entitled “Chemical Analysis of Soil, Water, Plant, and Mechanism of Analytical Instruments” under the auspices of the Dean of the College, Dr. Kazem Daili Hassan, and supervision of the Head of the Department of Soil Sciences and Water Resources, Assistant Professor Dr. Shatha Majed Nafawa with presence of a number of professors and postgraduate students. The course dealt with the definition of modern equipment and how to analyze soil. Soil analysis is a set of different chemical processes that determine the amount of plant nutrients available in the soil and the chemical, physical and biological properties of the soil that are important for plant nutrition. During the course, several lectures were given that specialized in the essence and core of its subject. Professor Dr. Kazem Makki Nasser gave a lecture entitled (Chemical Analysis of Soil, Water and Plants). Assistant Professor Dr. Abdel-Baqi Dawood Salman delivered a lecture entitled (Mechanical Analysis of Soil, Water and Plant Analyzers). The lecture dealt with the mechanics of work. Some special devices that are used to analyze soil, water and plants, what is the way they work and the problems that may result from the wrong use of these devices.
