Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Agricultural Engineering Sciences, **Prof. Dr. Amira Mohammed Saleh**, and supervised by the Head of the Women’s Affairs Unit, **Dr. Shaima Abdul Khaliq Al-Hamawandi**, the college organised a workshop titled **”The Phenomenon of Sexual Harassment in Iraqi Law.” The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Zainab Abdul Jabbar Dawi from the Ministry of Interior, in collaboration with the Ministry of Interior. The event was attended by **Dr. Hala Kazem Jabir**, Head of the Continuing Education Unit, along with several students and staff members of the college.

The workshop aimed to address the critical issues of **suicide** and **sexual harassment**, which are among the most pressing psychological and health challenges faced by contemporary societies. It emphasised raising awareness about sexual harassment by promoting gender equality, changing laws, providing support, and correcting misconceptions and behaviours in society.

The workshop concluded with several recommendations, including:
1. **Strict enforcement of laws** against perpetrators of sexual harassment, imposing severe penalties.
2. **Forming alliances against harassment**, where both genders must be part of the solution by working together to combat harassment and respect personal boundaries.
3. Encouraging the reporting of harassment incidents to ensure accountability and justice.

Kudos to the organisers for conducting such an informative and awareness-raising workshop that benefits both individuals and the community.
