Sports Activity Unit
The college has a Sports Activity Unit that includes several fields for football, basketball, volleyball, and table tennis, where students practice their sports activities. Some of the college’s sports teams have achieved advanced results in university championships. The Sports Activity Unit in the College of Agriculture is linked to the Sports Activity Department at the University of Baghdad. The college’s sports activities follow the curriculum sent by the university’s Sports Activity Department, which includes a number of student activities such as five-a-side football, basketball, badminton, track and field (for both male and female students), as well as chess (for both male and female students).


Cultural and Artistic Activity Unit
The Cultural and Artistic Activity Unit plays an important role in building the personality of university students and preparing them physically and mentally during their university life. Through this unit, students’ talents are discovered, and their artistic and cultural abilities are highlighted. The Cultural and Artistic Activity Unit was established on February 19, 2003, and includes the following:

  1. Artistic Activities: Providing the necessary conditions and supplies for practicing refined hobbies such as painting, sculpture, ceramics, music, wood carving, copper engraving, calligraphy, decoration, handicrafts, and more. This program is subject to administrative and technical follow-up, as well as organizing competitions and exhibitions at both individual and departmental/college levels.
  2. Cultural Activities: Organizing poetry readings and cultural competitions, including lectures and meetings with thinkers, scientists, and prominent figures.This program is subject to administrative follow-up by the administrative assistant and academic supervision by supervisors and professors from the scientific departments.
